DESCRIPTION:Tijdens deze bijeenkomst presenteren drie gemotiveerde ondernemers uit de regio hun businessplan aan een groep investeerders. \nDeze bijeenkomst van Money Meets Ideas is een regionaal evenement en wordt fysiek gehouden. Tijdens een bijeenkomst pitchen 3 ondernemers hun propositie voor zo’n 10 tot 40 informal investors. Als de investeerders geïnteresseerd zijn in één of meerdere ondernemingen\, kunnen ze op locatie in gesprek gaan met de ondernemer of worden ze door KplusV met elkaar in contact gebracht. Voordat ondernemers hun ondernemingsplan presenteren\, ondergaan de kandidaten een screeningsprocedure door KplusV. The winning student in 2022 was Auke Bleij (TU Delft)\, he presented his innovation Respyre which helps cities integrate nature into their surroundings in a simple\, cost-effective and elegant manner. \n  \nThe process: apply\, selection\, bootcamp\, finale \nStudents can apply as an individual or as a team until June 30st 2023 end of day. After careful selection by our expert jury and also a round of public voting\, the top 10 innovations will move forward. They will undergo a five-day bootcamp programme from 11-15 September in which different business experts will help them upgrade and refine their initiatives. After the bootcamp phase\, 5 finalists are selected to present their innovation live to a jury and audience during the grand finale on October 12th in Musis Sacrum Arnhem. \n  \nSilicon Valley  \nThe student or team that wins the finale on the 12th of October may call themselves The Most Innovative Student of The Netherlands for a year. The winner goes on a fully taken care of trip to the most innovative place in the world: Silicon Valley. The winning student in 2022 was Auke Bleij (TU Delft)\, he presented his innovation Respyre which helps cities integrate nature into their surroundings in a simple\, cost-effective and elegant manner. \n  \nThe process: apply\, selection\, bootcamp\, finale \nStudents can apply as an individual or as a team until June 30st 2023 end of day. After careful selection by our expert jury and also a round of public voting\, the top 10 innovations will move forward. They will undergo a five-day bootcamp programme from 11-15 September in which different business experts will help them upgrade and refine their initiatives. After the bootcamp phase\, 5 finalists are selected to present their innovation live to a jury and audience during the grand finale on October 12th in Musis Sacrum Arnhem. \n  \nSilicon Valley  \nThe student or team that wins the finale on the 12th of October may call themselves The Most Innovative Student of The Netherlands for a year. The winner goes on a fully taken care of trip to the most innovative place in the world: Silicon Valley. DESCRIPTION:Air quality is important 24/7. That’s why we’re going to put in these hours to help improve the air quality around us. An unseen but not undetected societal problem hacked by everyone in it. This time the sky is NOT the limit. \nDid you know … \nThat air pollution shortens the life of the average person in The Netherlands by 9 months? \nAir quality and air pollution has an effect on us all. \nTherefore\, it is time for the next hackathon at Stadslab Eindhoven! During the weekend of the 3rd  and 4th of June\, we will hack the topic of ‘air quality’\, which is extremely relevant due to the big effects it has on health\, mobility and agriculture. That is why several Dutch governmental organisations have written the ‘Schone Lucht Akkoord’. This document contains concrete ambitions to permanently improve the air quality in the Netherlands by 2030. There is already a lot of knowledge and data on air quality and pollution available\, but how can we use that information to improve the air quality and thus our lives? That’s why we’re all needed to come up with effective\, impactful and feasible solutions. So get your game face on\, sign up here and we will see you at Stadslab Eindhoven! \nThe whole programme will be announced later on the website and socials so keep an eye out. \nThis hackathon is in collaboration with Fontys Hogescholen\, AiREAS and TNO. \nWhat is a hackathon? \nA hackathon is a ‘pressure cooker session’ during which several multidisciplinary teams are dedicated to hack the chosen societal problem. ‘Hacking the problem’ means coming up with a solution that (slightly) improves the current situation. Everyone can join! Everyone has a different view on the problem which means the problem will be viewed and questioned from different angles. Thus everyone has a different perspective on the solution. DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join our art-based workshop + hackathon\, during which you will have the opportunity to visualize your ideas with tools for creating AI-generated art. This one-day event is aimed at a broad audience\, both people who have no experience working with generative AI tools and those who have used them in the past. The event will consist of: \n  \n\na workshop where you will get introduced to an AI image-generator tool\na hacking session where you shape your idea into a complete “product” using the AI-image generator (e.g. DALLE-2 / DreamStudio)\nroundtable discussion on human and machine creativity\nclosing ceremony and awards\n\nIn detail \nYou will create an image using an AI image-generator tool. You will be able to submit one image/a series of images or a video. The submitted work will be evaluated by a panel of judges and the best works will be awarded prizes. Participating as an individual or in a team is possible. \n  \nEligibility \n\nAt least 18 years old\nNo coding experience is required\n\n  \nWhy participate \nThe event is a great opportunity to make an art piece and show us your vision and creativity using technology. Tijdens een bijeenkomst pitchen 3 ondernemers hun propositie voor zo’n 10 tot 40 informal investors. Als de investeerders geïnteresseerd zijn in één of meerdere ondernemingen\, kunnen ze op locatie in gesprek gaan met de ondernemer of worden ze door KplusV met elkaar in contact gebracht. Voordat ondernemers hun ondernemingsplan presenteren\, ondergaan de kandidaten een screeningsprocedure door KplusV.
